Inventory Control Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage the end-to-end integrity of our inventoryâ— from receipt and storage to manufacturing and shipment. You will be the primary owner of ERP inventory transactions, ensuring our data is accurate, timely, and auditable while providing hands-on support on the production floor.

• Inventory Accuracy:
  Oversee cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve variances to maintain precise stock levels.
• ERP Management:
  Monitor and complete daily production consumption and batch closeouts within the ERP system.
• Operational Support:
  Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Finance to align records and resolve transaction discrepancies.
• Floor Support:
  Assist with physical material flow to production and perform manual inventory movement as needed.
• Reporting:
  Prepare daily and weekly inventory reports and support cost-of-goods-sold audits.
• Compliance:
  Ensure all activities follow food safety and HACCP protocols.

• Experience:
  
  2+ years in inventory control, manufacturing, or warehouse operations.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency with ERP systems and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Physical Ability:
  Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in varying environments (heat/steam/cold).
• Equipment:
  Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Communication:
  Fluent in English;
  Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
