Senior Marketing Communications Specialist
The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist plays a key role on the Marketing team, helping shape and strengthen Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s brand, voice, and public presence. The position serves as an important connection between the Credit Union and its members, community, and media by supporting public relations, digital and website content, online reputation, financial wellness initiatives, and community engagement efforts through a variety of content mediums.
Through this work, the Senior Marketing Communications Specialist helps build awareness, foster engagement, and reinforce the Credit Union’s commitment to its members and communities.
Working collaboratively with the Marketing team and across departments, the Senior Marketing Communications Specialist helps bring the Credit Union’s priorities and initiatives to life through clear, compelling, and consistent communications across a variety of channels. The role balances creativity and strategic thinking with attention to brand standards, compliance, and organizational goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities :- Develops, plans, and maintains engaging content for marketing and social media campaigns. Creates and implements monthly content and social media calendars, email campaigns, brochures, advertisements, and other collateral that accurately reflect Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union’s brand and adhere to compliance standards.
- Drafts press releases, pitches stories, and communicates with press contacts, community outlets, and industry journals to acquire press for the Credit Union.
- Serves as a brand steward, ensuring consistent voice, messaging, and visual identity across marketing and communications channels while maintaining compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Oversees the Credit Union’s online reputation and digital presence, supporting meaningful engagement and a positive, consistent experience across social media and other online platforms.
- Tracks, analyzes, and reports on social media performance metrics and insights to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends, and inform content and campaign strategies.
- Manages, edits, and grows The Money Mill Blog as a key resource for member education and engagement.
- Develops and executes marketing promotions and campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team, internal departments, and external vendors.
- Writes, edits, and updates clear, engaging website content that supports marketing initiatives, reflects the Credit Union’s brand voice, meets member information needs, and remains compliant.
- Supports marketing and communications initiatives related to the Credit Union’s financial wellness programs and community engagement efforts.
