We're looking for Pediatric RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Charlestown, MA. The right RN should have 1-2 years' recent acute care experience.
As a Pediatric Travel Nurse, you will provide preventative and acute care to children and adolescents in all settings. Pediatric RNs should have experience and skill caring for patients of all ages and providing support to patients' family members.
Responsibilities- Provide age‑appropriate care to patients.
- Help patients be comfortable with examinations and procedures.
- Perform physical, medical and diagnostic tests.
- Assess for critical signs and symptoms in the pediatric and adolescent patient populations.
- Assist treating physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
- Provide information, education and support to patients' family members.
PED Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to lift 20 pounds. Moving or lifting of patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds iatric RNs may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
Requirements: BLS, PALS, 2 Years
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
