Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Travel

Location: Falmouth, MA

Type: Contract

Schedule: 13 Weeks | Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Pay: $2,150 weekly

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an exciting Travel job in Falmouth, MA.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program; current, active MA LPN license required.
  • BLS / CPR and AED certification required.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing/medical practices, long-term care standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Leadership and supervisory abilities with a teamwork-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and meet all physical/sensory demands of the position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct daily functions of nursing assistants in alignment with facility guidelines.
  • Assist in shift planning and coordination of nursing services and activities.
  • Complete and maintain resident documentation for admissions, transfers, discharges, treatments, and care plans.
  • Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders; administer medications and treatments per protocol.
  • Monitor and document resident responses to care, reporting changes to physicians and supervisors.
  • Perform skilled nursing services (IV/IM meds, catheterization, tube feedings, wound care, suctioning, colostomy care, specimen collection, etc.).
  • Conduct vital signs monitoring and routine assessments.
  • Ensure adequate medication, supply, and equipment inventory.
  • Provide patient/family health education and orientation for new residents and families.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident information in compliance with HIPAA and residents’ rights.
