Regulatory Affairs Manager
Salary: $105,000 – $125,000 annually
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Occasional Saturdays based on production needs
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead and support regulatory compliance initiatives within a dynamic food manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring that all products, ingredients, packaging, and labeling meet regulatory and food safety standards. As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with QA, R&D, Purchasing, Sales, and Operations to support compliance efforts and drive successful product launches.
Key Responsibilities- Manage regulatory compliance for products and packaging
- Review and approve labels, ingredient statements, allergen information, and nutrition facts
- Monitor and interpret FDA, USDA, and food safety regulations
- Maintain regulatory documentation, certifications, and product records
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance programs
- Collaborate with internal teams to support new product development and commercialization
- Supervise and support regulatory staff
- Assist with QA/QC activities and regulatory projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance
- Experience with food labeling, nutrition panels, and regulatory documentation
- Strong knowledge of FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, and SQF standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and regulatory/compliance software
- Certifications such as HACCP, PCQI, or SQF are a plus
