Quality Manager

Dizario Search is actively seeking a Quality Manager for our client near the Lowell, MA area. This opportunity is with a contract manufacturing company specializing in medical devices, instruments and disposables. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on Quality Manager
, who enjoys developing people, strengthening quality systems, solving challenging manufacturing issues and partnering across an organization to drive measurable improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, develop and mentor the Quality team
• Drive initiatives designed to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, manufacturing performance and overall cost of quality
• Evaluate customer-specific quality expectations
• Develop and enhance quality procedures, inspection plans, documentation and related systems
• Lead cross‑functional investigations into internal, supplier and customer quality concerns, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to improve process capability and advance continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in customer, supplier and internal audits while helping maintain strong customer relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience leading or managing quality teams
• Must have previous experience working in the plastics manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies
