Store Merchandising Associate — Dorchester, MA

Overview

Retail merchandising support in the Dorchester, MA area.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role — not W-2 employment.

Work is as-needed gig scheduling; hours and project frequency vary by client, market, and season.

• Visit the store 1 time per week (based on client requirements)
• Perform bi-weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting the unit, restocking, and updating signage
• On other visits, check inventory levels and restock as needed (20 min. average)
• Verify thermostat settings are accurate per instructions
• Report service via smartphone/device the same day, including required photos

• $16.50 per visit
• Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
• Consistent, recurring route with independent work
• Pay is for a full hour, even if visit takes less time
• Individuals who live close to the store within a 10-15 mile radius
• Those comfortable using a smartphone to report tasks
• Professionals looking for supplemental income, not a full-time position
