POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Sales Associate supports Management in promoting a customer‑ and product‑focused sales culture, aligning with our values and guiding principles to provide a great customer experience and maximize profitability.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Drive for Results
- Meet company sales goals by applying sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to the customer; recommend merchandise selections or help locate/obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions; uphold pricing and visual standards.
- Adhere to standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all other duties directed by Management.
- Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and sales floor maintenance.
- Customer Experience
- Promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards through selling models and cohesive omni‑channel experience.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Ensure a fast and efficient register experience, staying current on policies regarding payments, coupon acceptance, returns and exchanges, and security practices.
- Reinforce buying decisions at the checkout and achieve add‑on goals, including gift card sales.
- Sign up clients for the reward program.
- Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobe styling.
- Know current product fit and style assortment offerings in store and online.
- Maintain consistent client communication using clienteling tools such as Style Connect and Customer Book.
- Operational Excellence
- Support replenishment activities that keep the store full and abundant.
- Assist with location fulfillment.
- Help with visual directives, including floor sets, window changes, visual presentations, signage placement, etc., as directed.
- Assist with boutique cleanliness and organization.

- Seek personal developmental opportunities and readily solicit feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Retail or sales experience preferred.
- For the following states: AZ, GA, , IL, KS, MS, MO, MT, ND, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, and VA, must be 16 years of age or older; for all other states, must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to communicate with customers, Associates, and Management.
- Regular attendance essential; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays required.
- Constant walking/standing—67‑100% of an 8‑hour shift.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.—1‑33% of an 8‑hour shift.
- Frequent climbing—34‑66% of an 8‑hour shift.

The wage range for this position is $15.00 to $18.75. Successful candidates’ wage rates will be determined based on their individual qualifications for the position.
