Acute Wound Healing Specialist
Solventum enables clinicians to go beyond wound treatment and accelerate healing. In this role you will act as a consultative wound healing expert and primary contact for hospital wound care decision makers, educating clinicians, driving adoption of Solventum solutions, expanding therapy utilization and coordinating patient transition of care.
Responsibilities- Consult with clinicians on safe and effective use of Solventum products.
- Attend procedures and placements in hospital settings.
- Deliver sustainable business growth based on sales targets through account and territory management.
- Identify and solve customer financial and clinical priorities.
- Educate clinicians, including servicing of products.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders.
- Use clinical and economic evidence to advocate for and grow therapy adoption, including advanced solutions and new product introductions.
- Persuade key stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products.
- Provide customer support and service.
- Demonstrate proficiency upon successful completion of sales training program.
- Leverage company software for planning, pipeline management, and utilization tracking.
- Represent Solventum at conferences, trade shows, and symposiums.
- Use a personal vehicle for company business.
- Participate in Solventum’s Fixed and Variable Reimbursement (FAVR) program.
- Successfully complete a pre‑hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility.
- Comply with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign‑off.
- Maintain compliance with ongoing monitoring of motor vehicle history.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience, OR High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Current, valid Driver’s License.
- Proven track record of sales quota and target attainment.
- Prior wound care or medical device sales experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in establishing strong customer relationships with key influencers (e.g., surgeons).
- Proven experience in territory management and business planning.
- Strong understanding of clinical value drivers across care areas.
- Customer‑focused selling and closing.
- Experience navigating complex selling cycles.
- Completion of a formal sales training program.
- Experience using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience navigating new product introductions and the value analysis process.
- Outstanding data and analytical skills.
- Remote position based in Hartford, CT or Springfield/Worcester, MA.
- Field‑based role with up to 20% overnight travel (may vary by territory).
- Relocation assistance may be authorized.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Base pay plus variable incentive pay, ranging from $126,400 to $173,800. Compensation may vary by experience, location, and performance.
