Job Overview
Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T‑Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience continuously evolve. They build new and deepen relationships with customers and have a passion for educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions.
The role is a learning role preparing for the next level as a Mobile Expert. As a Mobile Associate, you will be required to successfully complete new employee training.
- Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world‑class customer experience and building loyalty by helping customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey across online, customer care, or in‑store channels, exploring individual needs and providing hands‑on demonstrations of the latest technology, side‑by‑side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan, and approaching service and sales needs with composure, integrity and compassion.
- Become skilled with and consistently use digital tools in interactions and onboarding to actively demonstrate coverage performance, explain T‑Mobile plans and services, complete training on in‑store experience, new skills and processes, and consistently seek out information between customers.
- Establish relationships and partner with T‑Mobile employees across channels, including business and customer service, to collectively own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify and hand off small business leads, and support team initiatives while creating an inclusive environment.
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred. (Required)
- Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting with customers.
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas while serving customers and resolving issues.
- Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals.
- At least 18 years of age.

Hourly Base Pay: $19.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days, Mobile Associates receive on‑the‑job training and are eligible for hourly training pay. After completion, Mobile Associates promote to the Mobile Expert role and become eligible for an annualized incentive target of $18,000/year.
