- Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Rotating shift between evening shift and night shift, as needed. Shifts may be last-minute scheduled; candidates must have open availability and be prepared to be called in with as little as 2 hours' notice. Shifts may also be scheduled ahead of time. Only 24 hours are guaranteed per week, but up to 40 hours may be utilized if the candidate is available and willing.
Candidates must be available to work 24 hours any time during the week. - Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
This is a 24-hour/week flex position with a rotating shift schedule between evening and night shifts. Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process. Services include individual case management and group treatment services focused on assisting the client with accessing step-down levels of care. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.
KeyResponsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
- Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30-minute client well-being checks.
- Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties.
- Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
- Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Experience working with substance use population is preferred.
- Valid MA Driver's License in good standing.
- Position is located at Tewksbury Hart House.
- Rotating evening and night shifts with flexible, on-call scheduling expectations.
- Must have open availability and be prepared to be called in with as little as 2 hours' notice prior to shift.
- 24 hours guaranteed per week; may be utilized for up to 40 hours per week based on availability.

- Must be separated from any BILH affiliated facilities for 6 months prior to being considered.
