LocationLowell, MA and Danvers, MA
Schedule:
Hybrid, 2 Days in Office in Lowell, MA, and 1 day in office in Danvers MA.
Target Salary: $27.50 - $29.50 hourly

Job SummaryCommunity Resource Specialists (CRS) provide individualized, community-based support to individuals and families by helping them navigate, access, and engage with a wide range of resources. Their work strengthens the connection between DDS, Northeast Arc, families, and the broader community.
Responsibilities- Provide tailored resource guidance on topics such as recreation, transportation, employment supports, parent/caregiver supports, housing, financial benefits, and community inclusion opportunities.
- Attend meetings with service coordinators to explain the CRS role and discuss how they can help support casework.
- Serve as a point of connection between the DDS office and community organizations.
- Attend local community events, workshops, and networking meetings to expand the Area Office’s resource network.
- CRSs often support or contribute to agency-wide initiatives, including Monthly Northeast Transition Collaborative Network (NTCN) webinars, ECommunity
Connections programming, Regional newsletters and resource calendars, and presentations or trainings created in partnership with community or internal teams. - Encourage partnerships between families, DDS, and community organizations.
- Bachelors of Science in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or related field.
- Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience working in the human services or disability field.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database software, and Canva or similar design software required.
- Requires sitting, talking on the phone, and entering information into a computer for 75% of the day.
- Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment.
