Position: Residential Counselor (Part Time)

Residential Counselor (Part Time)

We are looking for a Residential Counselor (Part‑Time) to work at the GRIP Program, a group home treatment setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma‑informed care. You will convey your passion for helping others while bringing an energetic and positive approach to work with our students.

Compensation

The pay range is $19.00 to $25.00 per hour. Overtime may be mandated due to the nature of our work and the youth who depend on us.

Training and Development
  • You will develop skills in providing enriching daily activities for students such as arts and crafts, recreational activities, including off‑site field trips, and more.
  • You will help create a safe and therapeutic community by supporting students in developing coping strategies and role modelling.
  • You will help students discover what makes them feel competent and valued by working with them to develop life skills such as cooking, banking, vocational skills, and more.

Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license; transporting students is required.
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts as required.
  • Able to provide physical interventions and verbal de‑escalation to maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
