Position Summary
The Part‑Time CFCE Playgroup Educator is responsible for facilitating community playgroups as they relate to the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement program. All CFCE Playgroups are within the catchment area:
Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Tyngsborough, Tewksbury, and Wilmington.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities Act as a community‑based information resource hub for all families, including travel to site locations in each town in the CTI CFCE catchment area; maintenance and distribution of resource folders for families; outreach to families and local agencies via newsletter, brochures, and resource manual; collaborate with community agencies such as libraries, town halls, recreation centers, public schools and childcare centers.Promote evidence‑based education, family engagement and literacy support; facilitate CFCE playgroups; collaborate with local Early Intervention programs; assist families with transition from home or daycare to school.Maintain education supplies used for playgroups to ensure appropriate safety, quality and quantity needed to support the curriculum.Attend CFCE Council meetings; recruit council members from each town; meetings held bi‑monthly.Collect monthly attendance information from CFCE programming for intake and reporting needs.Communicate information as necessary to the CFCE Supervisor and point person at the Department of Early Education and Care.Attend meetings with the CFCE Supervisor and trainings held by the Department of Early Education and Care.Attend individual and Family Resource Network staff meetings as required.Uphold the values of CTI – Equity, Integrity, Compassion.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications
1–3 years in ECE, child development and parent support.Strong proven leadership and decision‑making abilities.Associate's degree.Desire to work with low‑income, culturally diverse, and at‑risk families and individuals.Excellent Customer Service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment.Proficient computer skills in basic computer software and data collection systems.Excellent crisis management skills.Good attention to detail.Able to show proof of MMR immunity and recent physical.Ability to pass background check which includes fingerprinting.Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese).

The base salary range represents the Agency's good‑faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation within the range will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
