Youth & Family Support WorkerCommunity Based - Lowell
Salary Range: $22.00 - $28.00/hour depending on experience and degree + sign - on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

- Provide culturally informed therapeutic interventions to children, young adults, and their families, that promote skill building in the life domainsof:social functioning, symptom management, coping skills and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with all members of the team to ensure continuity in treatment, services, and messages delivered.
- Provide both "soft" services (mentoring, counseling, skill-building) with identified clients as well as "hard" services including transportation, referrals, accessing concrete services such as furniture, food, etc.
- Serve as an advocate and attend meetings with the family and as requested by the youth and/or family.
- Talent connecting with people.
- Strong communication skills–both written and verbal.
- Ability to assess and manage risk.
- Flexibility and creative thinking with an ability to adapt.
- High School Diploma plus at least 5 years experience working directly with children, young adults, and/or families OR
- Associates Degree in Social Work or related field plus at least 3 years experience working with children, young adults, and/or families OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field plus at least 1 year of direct experience working with children, young adults, and/or families.
- Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
