Barnstable Police Department seeks a Victim Advocate to serve as the liaison between victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and the Police Department. The role includes crisis intervention, advocacy, referrals, and community outreach, with regular court accompaniment and administrative support for the domestic violence unit.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or social work, plus relevant DV advocacy experience and a DV counseling certification.
