COA Van Driver Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; experience working with the elderly strongly preferred; experience in light truck delivery service desirable; or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
Special Requirements:
Possession of a valid Massachusetts Class D motor vehicle operator's license required. D.O.T. certification. Certification in First Aid and CPR. Complete the training requirements of GATRA such as motor vehicle wheelchair; ADA and Wheelchair Certified and as a condition of employment, the employee is required to participate in a random drug and alcohol testing program. Must qualify and obtain valid medical card as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and under the regulations of the Federal Highway Administration.
Card is to be on person while driving van. CORI certification is required as a condition of employment.
