General Labor, Material Handler
Job Description
Facility Warehouser performs day‑to‑day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general administrative functions.
- Location:
1 Foundry Street, Lowell, MA 01852 - Compensation: $20.50 - $24.83 hourly
- Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday - Friday, 1st shift
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Check incoming merchandise against bills of lading and invoice for accuracy
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
- Load and unload products from deliveries
- Operate tinting and mixing equipment and material handling equipment in an efficient and safe manner
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Ensure that the stockroom is organized
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without need for sponsorship
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
- Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch process
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu‑hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts)
- Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Have prior work experience operating tinting or color matching equipment
- Have prior work experience repairing spray equipment
