Senior Project Accountant​/Accounting Manager

LHH has partnered with our client and we are seeking a Senior Accountant specializing in project-based construction and infrastructure services. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure to large-scale construction projects, and play a key role in strengthening accounting operations during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

The ideal candidate will have construction accounting experience, strong technical accounting knowledge, and a process improvement mindset.

• Support all aspects of month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage project accounting activities, including job costing and project profitability analysis.
• Maintain and analyze Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and reporting.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and revenue recognition.
• Assist with customer invoicing, billing processes, and collections support.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Construction accounting, project accounting, engineering, or contracting industry experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of debits and credits, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
• Experience working within ERP and project management systems.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

$90,000- $120,000
