Automotive Express Service Technician

The Express Automotive Technician at Jones Honda will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our service center. This individual will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles, as well as providing high-quality customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of automotive systems and a passion for providing top-notch service to customers.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A valid PA Safety Inspection License and PA Emissions Inspector license are preferred.
• Some practical experience with automotive repair and service is required.
• Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
• Specialized training in repairing and replacing vehicle components is a plus.
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
• Basic computer skills required for data entry into Dealer Management Systems.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair minor vehicle issues, such as replacing brake pads and spark plugs
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve more complex vehicle problems
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering any questions and addressing concerns
• Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently within the scheduled time
• Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
