Associate Vice President (AVP), Drug Product Technical Operations (DP Tech Ops)

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide enterprise leadership for drug product manufacturing performance across internal sites, external CMOs, and global commercial product networks; ensure reliable supply, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle stewardship.
  • Serve as senior technical authority for complex product/process/manufacturing/supply challenges; drive science-based decisions.
  • Provide oversight of external drug product CMOs and technical operations leadership for Singapore manufacturing facilities, ensuring inspection readiness.
  • Improve network performance via proactive risk management, lifecycle monitoring, investigation excellence, CAPA effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion digital/analytics/advanced process monitoring to strengthen technical decisions and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead transformational initiatives; build and lead a high-performing, inclusive technical operations organization.
  • Develop leadership bench strength (coaching, talent development, succession planning).
The Successful Candidate Will
  • Anticipate/manage technical, operational, quality, and supply risks; influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Balance technical excellence, compliance, and business priorities; drive transformational change.
Education
  • Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in Chemistry/Engineering/Analytical Sciences with 15+ years of experience.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Leadership in pharmaceutical technical operations/manufacturing science/CMC, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience leading global technical organizations and complex manufacturing networks in regulated environments.
  • Deep GMP, quality systems, regulatory compliance, inspection readiness, and lifecycle stewardship.
  • Track record of transformation; build/retain high-performing teams; inclusive culture.
