LHH is partnering with a manufacturing organization seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Assembly and Machine Shop operations through process improvement, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This hands-on role will focus on improving manufacturing efficiency, optimizing workflows, enhancing process documentation, and driving productivity improvements across the production floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct equipment, tooling, and process qualifications
  • Perform time studies and develop standard work procedures
  • Participate in Kaizen and variation reduction activities
  • Create and update work instructions, routings, and manufacturing documentation
  • Identify opportunities for tooling and fixturing improvements
  • Support line balancing and workflow optimization efforts
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Tool & Die teams
  • Assist with equipment and tooling specification and procurement
Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related manufacturing experience
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and process control
  • Experience with process documentation and standard work development
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
  • Familiarity with inspection and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) preferred
  • Solid Works experience for tooling and fixture design is a plus
