Research Associate Position - Margulies laboratory

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the Universityof Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Research Associatepositions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will beinitially for one (1) year and continuation during that time periodand renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years). Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D
degree.
- designing and executing studiesfocused on mechanobiology and myocardial tissue engineering
- manuscript preparation
- development of applications forextramural funding
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to grow as an independent researcher in a collaborative environment with opportunities for mentorship. Selected candidates will be encouraged to interact and potentially form collaborativeopportunities with fellow researchers within the field, as well ashave opportunities to present data to the scientific community.
Candidates will have at least 3 years of full‑time post‑doctoralresearch experience.
