Wayne County Drug and Alcohol Commission seeks a part‑time Prevention Specialist Trainee in Honesdale, PA to assist with implementing drug and alcohol prevention programs for schools and communities. Working under senior staff supervision, you will help deliver educational programs, maintain records, conduct outreach, and support program evaluation during the school year with occasional work at other times. This seasonal position offers hands‑on experience in prevention and intervention services with opportunities to complete required training and broaden your skills.
KeyQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent combination of experience and training
- Ability to meet Pennsylvania residency requirements
- Pass background investigation and criminal history clearances including PA State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearance
- Ability to perform essential job functions and work irregular hours including evenings and occasional overnight travel
