Job Description: Community Engagement Associate
- Spanish Speaking Required (Modivcare PCS)
Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and community‑oriented individual to join Modivcare PCS as a Community Engagement Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships within the community to promote our services, increase brand awareness, and foster collaboration with local organizations and stakeholders. You will play a vital role in expanding our reach, educating the community about our home care services, and facilitating access to care for individuals in need.
This position requires strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of others.
- Community Outreach and Relationship Building
- Develop and implement strategies to engage with the local community, including care providers, community organizations, senior centers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Attend community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities to promote our services, establish connections, and raise awareness about the benefits of home care.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with referral sources, such as physicians, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and discharge planners, to facilitate referrals and ensure a steady stream of new clients.
- Education and Information Dissemination
- Conduct presentations, workshops, and educational sessions in the community to educate individuals, families, and caregivers about the services provided by our home care company.
- Distribute informational materials, brochures, and flyers to healthcare providers, community centers, and other venues to increase awareness and understanding of our services.
- Utilize various communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and community forums, to share relevant information, resources, and updates about our organization.
- Collaboration and Partnership Development
- Identify and establish partnerships with local organizations, such as senior centers, assisted living facilities, and support groups, to enhance community support networks and improve access to home care services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and organizations to develop referral pathways and streamline the process of connecting individuals in need with our services.
- Participate in community initiatives, committees, and task forces related to healthcare, aging, and wellness, representing our organization and contributing to community improvement efforts.
- Community Needs Assessment
- Stay informed about community healthcare needs and trends, conducting assessments and gathering feedback from community members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the management team regarding community engagement activities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Branding and Marketing Support
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns to promote our home care services.
- Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, brochures, and presentations, aligned with our brand identity and messaging.
- Proven experience in community outreach, engagement, or marketing roles, preferably in the healthcare or home care sector.
- Strong knowledge of community resources, healthcare systems, and the needs of individuals requiring home care services.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to confidently deliver presentations and engage with diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in using various communication and marketing tools, including social media platforms.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self‑motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Passion for community service, advocacy, and improving healthcare access.
- $22/hr
