THE POSITION

This position leads a full range of social services at the facility and ensures residents receive clear, complete, and well-coordinated support. It requires strong organization, leadership, and commitment to high-quality social service practices. As a Social Worker Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Department Leadership:
Oversee social service operations, set procedures, and assign responsibilities - Resident Support:
Coordinate assessments, admissions, transfers, and documentation - Care Plan Input:
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and complete required assessment sections - Grievance Management:
Monitor and manage grievance investigations according to policy - Counseling Services:
Provide individual or group counseling using appropriate treatment methods - Program Coordination:
Represent the department, support planning, and assist with staff development

Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

- One year of experience as a Social Worker 2 or a Forensic Social Worker 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ; and a master’s degree in social work or social welfare; or
- Three years of professional social work experience, including one year in a consultative, administrative, advisory, or lead work capacity; and a master’s degree in social work or social welfare.
- You must possess a valid license as a Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
