Norfolk & Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our existing multi-disciplinary professional maintenance team in providing a safe environment for all service users, staff and visitors across our Suffolk & Norfolk sites being based in Lowestoft.

Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate would be flexible, enthusiastic, self‑motivated and confident in being part of a team that provides a comprehensive maintenance service in a unique varied environment.
- Providing a comprehensive service to include all aspects of planned, routine and reactive maintenance
- The repair and maintenance a wide range of electrical services and equipment on site
- Fault finding and diagnosis
- Routine inspections to ensure our estate is safe and fully compliant
- Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health & Safety and other relevant legislation
- You will be required to participate as a member of the On‑Call Team providing an emergency out of hours service on a rotational basis

- Knowledge and experience of standard and specialist aspects of electrical services
- Understanding and knowledge of the inter‑relationship between the building trades and electrical & mechanical services
- Understanding of Health & Safety Regulations within the Workplace
- The Electrical Safety Code for Low Voltage Systems – HTM 2020
- Two years relevant experience having demonstrated high technical versatility and flexibility
- Experience of working in a mental health & secure services environment
- Recognised & registered EITB minimum 3 year apprenticeship as in Electrical Engineering
- City & Guilds 236 Parts A & B OR City & Guilds 2330 Electro Technical Technology inc. AM1 & AM2 or equivalent OR NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering
