• Perform daily accounting activities for assigned business units, including managing the month-end close process.
• Prepare and issue stand-alone business financial statements on a monthly basis in accordance with GAAP.
• Communicate and review financial statements with business leaders, providing insights to support financial performance improvements.
• Conduct and review reconciliations on high-risk accounts and perform analytical procedures to ensure statement accuracy.
• Work collaboratively to improve and document internal accounting processes and procedures.
• Assist with the annual financial statement audit and ensure audit readiness.
• Train and provide guidance to accounting team members as required.
• Support business understanding through financial analysis and proactive engagement with leadership.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification.
• 2+ years of professional experience in accounting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated experience with financial statement preparation and month-end closing processes.

• Master's Degree in Accounting.
• Experience in public accounting.
• Familiarity with Net Suite or similar ERP systems.
• Experience working in the construction industry or with multiple business entities.
• Process improvement and documentation experience.
