Position: Express Technician - Group 1 Toyota Hub City
Overview

Group 1 Toyota Hub City is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail sales and service.

We are growing and looking to add Express Lube Technicians/Mechanics to work with our Quality Dealerships representing a Quality Product! Our Service Technicians should be passionate about customer service, take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about employees.

Responsibilities

* Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards

* Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items including tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and filters

* Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures

* Document all services performed and inspection findings accurately

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

* Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work

* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

* Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services

* Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skill set

* Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Valid driver license.

* Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids)

* Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including:

* Oil and filter changes

* Tire rotation and pressure checks

* Fluid checks and topâ€'offs (transmission, coolant, brake, power steering)

* Battery testing and replacement

* Visual inspections of belts, hoses, and filters

* Familiarity with basic hand and power tools

* Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures
