Gerber Collision & Glass - Slide Rd, Lubbock, TX

Position:
Porter (detail/porter duties). 1 year prior experience in collision automotive detailing/porter duties preferred.

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of office interior – empty garbage cans, clean floors, dust countertops, and use work area.
• Maintain daily housekeeping of production interior – empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted vehicle parts, place tools and equipment properly.
• Maintain parking lots and grounds orderly, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
• Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs complete.
• Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• 1 year prior experience in collision automotive detailing/porter duties preferred.
• 18 years of age or older, valid driver's license.
• Clear, close vision required.

• Customer service abilities.

• Willingness to learn.

• Pulling, pushing, carrying, walking 5+ hours.
• Sitting, standing 5+ hours.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 1+ hour.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts.

$12.00 - $20.00 per hour, commensurate with location, skill, education, and experience.
