Strategic Meeting Planning Specialist - Neuromodulation

About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Meeting Planning Specialist to join our team  this role you will be an individual contributor and a key player in executing meetings and events that contribute to our organization’s success.

• Plan and organize internal and external business-related meetings, symposiums, conferences, and program events in compliance with Medtronic policies and regulations, aligning with strategic direction.
• Manage all aspects of budget and billing, including development, tracking, cost savings, reconciliation, and vendor payments.
• Investigate, source, negotiate, and coordinate hotel and ancillary services, managing logistics such as space set‑up, catering, and transportation.
• Select, book, and coordinate AV/Production and auxiliary technical services (e.g., mobile applications, audience response systems, polling/surveys) to ensure successful execution and evaluation.
• Facilitate attendee experience through website and registration design, event promotion, and communication; manage accommodation requests, RSVPs, and travel manifests.
• Generate, analyze, and communicate event‑level and cross‑event reporting against key metrics and value‑proposition indicators.
• Provide on‑site host and support to guests, ensuring concierge‑level hospitality and service during all events.
• Travel up to 50% of the time and work before and after typical business hours, including some weekends, to support events.

High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience in meeting or event planning (or Associate’s Degree with 2+ years experience, or Baccalaureate Degree with 1+ year experience).

• Diploma in event planning, business, marketing, communications, or advertising.
• Meeting planning or convention experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) credential.
• Vendor management experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills and familiarity with tools such as Cvent, Workfront, Concur.
• French language proficiency.

Salary ranges for U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) locations: $64,800.00 – $97,200.00 (USD).

Position is remote with 50% travel. Requires flexibility to work before, after, and on weekends to support events.
