Customer Service Representative (Part Time) – Lubbock
Part Time CSR – Call Center LUBBOCK ANNEX, Lubbock, TX, US
Position PurposeResponsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong professional relationships in the Bank’s Customer Service Center. Professionally, courteously, and promptly resolves customer questions and/or problems. Performs a broad variety of financial services such as opening and closing accounts, renewing time deposit accounts, and assisting customers with account inquiries, maintenance, and problem resolution. Has knowledge and experience with deposit and loan products and services.
EssentialFunctions & Basic Duties
- Takes customer calls and provides excellent customer service.
- Answers questions and solves problems for customers by listening, collecting data, and securing answers.
- Assists customers with their Checking, Savings, Time Deposits, IRAs, Loans, Safe Deposit Boxes, Internet Banking, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards.
- Handles complaints in a professional manner.
- Presents and explains Bank products and services to customers and assists in meeting their financial needs, including opening, closing, and maintaining accounts and working with safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards and consumer loans.
- Consistently strives to meet the Customer Service Center’s call quality goals.
- Maintains and projects the Bank's professional reputation while adhering to the Bank policies.
- Assists other departments as necessary, keeps work area clean, secure, and maintains privacy of customer information.
- Keeps management informed of problems and maintains professional working relationships with all associates in the Customer Service Center.
- Financial service functions performed efficiently, effectively, and accurately in accordance with established policies, standards, and security procedures.
- Good business relations exist with customers; problems and complaints addressed promptly and professionally.
- Accurate and complete information about Bank products and services provided to customers.
- Good working relationships and coordination with area personnel and management; appropriate assistance given to area staff; management informed of activities.
- Consistently meets established call quality standards.
- The Bank’s professional reputation is conveyed and maintained.
- Associate Degree or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
- Preferred knowledge of the Bank products, services, and policies/procedures.
- 1 year of customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and public relations skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Well organized.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work overtime as needed or required.
- Finger Dexterity: small movements such as typing (up to 10 lbs of force occasionally).
- Talking: convey detailed or important instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- Hearing: average or normal conversations.
- Visual: ordinary visual acuity to prepare or inspect documents or products.
- Physical Strength: sedentary work; sitting most of the time.
- Reasoning Ability: apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving a few variables.
- Mathematics Ability: basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and basic arithmetic with money and measurement units.
- Language Ability: use passive vocabulary of 5,000-6,000 words, read slowly, define unfamiliar words, write complex sentences with proper punctuation.
Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Rotating Saturdays 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
