About the Position
A well-established private
gastroenterology practice in Lubbock, Texas is actively recruiting a Board-Certified
or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our growing team, currently
consisting of one physician and three advanced practice providers. This is an
exceptional opportunity to step into a high-demand market with immediate
procedural volume and no call responsibilities—offering an ideal balance of
professional growth and lifestyle.
Position Highlights:
High-Volume Practice:
Perform general GI procedures from day one. The current physician is fully
booked 3–6 months out, with a long waiting list for scopes and an established
referral base.
No Call:
Enjoy a predictable
schedule with no on-call duties.
Scope-Ready Facilities:
Procedures are performed at a local physician-owned ambulatory surgery center
(ASC) and well-equipped office-based procedural suites.
New Patient Focus:
All new
patients will be referred to the incoming physician, with active support from
the current partner to build your patient base quickly.
General GI Only:
All
procedures are general scoping—no EUS or ERCP required.
Compensation and Benefits:
$700,000 +
$50,000 Signing Bonus and
$15,000 Relocation Assistance
Outstanding Earning
Potential:
Expect to earn $1.2M+ annually after year one, based on
fee-for-service collections
Partnership Opportunity:
Ownership track in the clinic, ASC, and hospital after two years

Requirements:
MD or DO degree from an
accredited institution
Board Certified or Board
Eligible in Gastroenterology
Eligible for or in
possession of a Texas medical license
Strong clinical skills and
ability to manage a high-volume practice
Excellent interpersonal and
communication abilities
Motivated to grow within a
private practice partnership track
