Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens assignment supporting a busy hospital-based emergency department in Marshall, Texas. This opportunity involves providing high-acuity emergency care within a high-volume setting, utilizing advanced electronic medical records, and collaborating with on-site MD and APP providers to deliver efficient patient management.

Clinical Scope
- Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of general emergency patients
- Management of hypertensive emergencies, postpartum hemorrhage, and ACLS protocols
- Emergency procedures within provider scope of practice
- Care for a broad patient population in a high-volume emergency environment
- Documenting patient encounters using Epic EMR and Genesis modules
Practice Environment
This emergency department serves as a primary emergency care destination supported by hospital protocols and outpatient resources. Providers work alongside dedicated MD and APP teams in a modern environment that emphasizes on-site hospital orientation, Epic EMR use, and comprehensive workflow integration.
Requirements
- Active Texas medical license
- DEA registration in Texas
- Certifications:
ACLS, initial ATLS (for non-boarded EM or FM physicians; boarded EM physicians are exempt from current ATLS maintenance) - Residency-trained in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years ED experience at high-volume facilities (10,000+ annual visits) for ABFM physicians
- Willingness to work at both Marshall and Kilgore hospital locations
