Position Description

Performs academic advising, educational, professional, or other basic academic advising or training at the individual or group level as appropriate. Work is performed under supervision with performance based on individual advising effectiveness and overall program results obtained.

• Performs Success Advising, and career Advising or training for students, at the individual or group level as appropriate.
• Track students' academic progress, track college retention & persistence data. Generate information and analyses as needed.
• Attend & help manage Summer RRO, as well as attend some recruiting and outreach events on behalf of the College. These may occur after-hours or on weekends.
• Coordinate with the departmental advisors of the College of Arts & Sciences when necessary.
• Assist Associate Dean with various initiatives and tasks related to retention and recruiting.

Bachelor's degree required; one year related experience.

• Experience in career placement
• Experience with students

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
