A graduate student in an institution within the Texas Tech University System employed in support of a department or unit responsible for work assigned by the supervisor within the unit or department, which utilizes knowledge beyond undergraduate academic studies. This role will contribute to the design, development, and evaluation of instructional materials for the Office of Interprofessional Education, involving collaboration with faculty and staff to create innovative, evidence‑informed learning experiences that support interprofessional competencies.
Major/EssentialFunctions
- Design and develop engaging learning activities and high‑impact course content aligned with interprofessional education (IPE) priorities.
- Apply advanced instructional design theories, frameworks, and best practices to support effective learning outcomes.
- Develop exercises and experiential activities that promote critical thinking, collaboration, and knowledge integration.
- Create supporting educational media, including audio, video, simulations, role‑plays, and game‑based learning elements.
- Partner in the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of new and existing learning models.
- Contribute to assessment strategies and recommend enhancements based on learner feedback and emerging educational practices.
Enrolled in the graduate program of an institution within the Texas Tech University System.
Preferred Qualifications- PhD student in Instructional Design.
- Experience with course development technologies and at least one learning management system.
