Substitute Teacher

Substitute Pay Rates:

* Non-Degreed: $100

* Degreed (Bachelor): $130

* Certified: $150

Responsibilities:

* Provide instruction and support to students in various subjects, including literacy education and math.

* Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special needs requirements.

* Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher and maintain a positive learning environment.

* Manage classroom behavior and ensure student safety at all times.

* Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote student success and development.

* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.

Expectations:

* High School diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred.

* Experience working with children, particularly in a preschool or special education setting.

* Knowledge of childhood development principles and strategies for teaching students with diverse learning needs.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classrooms and grade levels as needed.

* Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit.

Note:

Experience or expertise in autism, tutoring, or special education is highly desirable.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per day
