Director, Program Assessment & Effectiveness
Directs, plans, coordinates and supervises the operation and activities of a specialized unit or small department; develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities. Serves as liaison with university personnel and community ks under general supervision with broad latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Major / Essential Functions- Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to assess program outcomes, student performance, curricular effectiveness, and operational processes.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support evidence-based decision-making.
- Evaluate academic and administrative workflows to identify strengths, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and manage comprehensive assessment frameworks aligned with program outcomes, institutional priorities, and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate assessment planning cycles, including instrument development, data collection strategies, and evaluation timelines.
- Ensure systematic documentation of assessment findings and resulting continuous improvement actions.
- Coordinate the collection, verification, and organization of evidence supporting program assessment and effectiveness for accreditation and institutional reporting.
- Monitor compliance indicators and identify areas requiring corrective action or improvement.
- Develop procedures and documentation standards for assessment activities.
- Coordinate and facilitate special projects for the dean as needed.
Graduate degree (Master’s or higher) in education, assessment, statistics, analytics, public health, education, curriculum/instruction, higher education administration, or a related field. Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis and data interpretation. Minimum of 2 years of experience in university education working closely with faculty and staff on assessment and evaluation in higher education. Excellent communication skills, particularly in developing technical and narrative reports.
- Experience with ACPE or other higher education accreditation frameworks.
- Advanced training in program evaluation or institutional research.
- Experience developing dashboards or using data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with curriculum mapping and learning outcomes assessment.
Bachelor's degree in a related area plus five years of progressively responsible management experience OR a combination of education and/or years of experience in management to equal a minimum of 9 years.
