Southcrest Baptist Church is seeking a passionate and experienced College Pastor to lead The Journey College Ministry. This role is responsible for reaching, discipling, and developing college-aged students while building a healthy, scalable ministry that helps students grow into fully devoted followers of Christ.

The College Pastor provides vision, leadership, and oversight for all aspects of the college ministry through relational discipleship, leadership development, volunteer engagement, and strategic ministry planning. This pastor will cultivate authentic relationships with students, develop Home Group leaders, invest in residents and student leaders, and create systems that move students from first-time guests to active disciples.

In addition to leading the college ministry, this position serves as the Student Team Lead by coaching and developing the Associate Student Ministers who oversee Middle School and High School ministries. This role also participates in Southcrest's Venue Teaching Team, regularly preaching during Sunday worship services and collaborating with the teaching team on message planning.

• Bachelor's degree required; seminary education preferred.
• Minimum of five years of ministry experience in a growing local church.
• At least three years of preaching and teaching experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams, develop leaders, and cast vision.
• Strong relational, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

You'll serve alongside a collaborative ministry team under the leadership of the Executive Pastor of Ministry, receiving intentional coaching, leadership development, and regular opportunities to preach in Sunday worship services.
