Non-Credit Instructor
MCC's Continuing Education Division is seeking enthusiastic and experienced non-credit instructors to provide engaging, hands-on learning experiences for the community in STEM classes for Fall 2026 and beyond. Topics will include, and are not limited to: technology (coding, robotics, drones, etc.), biological sciences, environmental sciences, and engineering. Instructors introduce students to STEM concepts in a safe, supportive, and interactive environment. Responsibilities include leading activities from the curriculum, supervising participants, promoting student engagement, and creating a positive learning experience.
This position will have opportunities for teaching assignments throughout the year. MCC holds classes at multiple locations throughout the Metro area, including Fremont and Blair. Most classes will be in the evenings or on weekends.
Minimum Qualifications For
Education And Experience:
- Teaching experience (all ages)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver engaging and practical course content from a provided curriculum
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping others achieve personal growth and enrichment
- Knowledge of technology (coding, robotics, drones, etc.), biological sciences, environmental sciences, and/or an area of engineering
