Designs, implements and manages an assigned program. Typical duties can include but are not limited to:
Identify funding opportunities, conduct program assessments, prepare program reports, oversee and manage program marketing and communications, manage program databases, supervise program staff, plan research activities, coordinate program events, participate in strategic planning, manage program files, establish program standards and objectives, direct logistical activities to promote the success of programs, develop and implement project timelines and ensures deadlines are met, oversee program budget, ensure goals and objectives of grants are met, assists in proposal writing, comply and analyze program statistics.

Major/Essential Functions
* Provides leadership in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of assigned Student MH educational programs to ensure achievement of departmental goals, program objectives, and strategic initiatives.
* Manages planning and implementation of student mental health awareness events and educational opportunities.
* Oversee the implementation and daily operations of the Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) program.
* Oversees scheduling and implementation of YAM programming with participating schools.
* Assists schools in identifying appropriate student mental health education opportunities.
* Manages the production and distribution of educational materials, curriculum resources, and program schedules.
* Facilitates delivery of educational programming using designated communication methods.
* Creates, develops, and evaluates student mental health presentations and educational materials based on identified community and school needs.
* Collaborates with team members on the development and revision of student educational curriculum and resources.
* Manages the tracking of program evaluation measures to monitor outcomes and achievement of project goals.
* Participates in the evaluation process of YAM Training Specialists.
* Serves as a YAM Facilitator and/or Helper by delivering the Youth Aware of Mental Health curriculum to students throughout the region.
* Collaborates with school districts, higher education institutions, health care organizations, and community partners to support student mental health initiatives.
* Travels throughout the service region to deliver presentations, facilitate YAM sessions, participate in outreach activities, and support school partners.
* Maintains professional rapport and upholds TTUHSC values in all interactions.

Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree in education, psychology or other social science.
* 3+ years working in an education setting with students.
* Experience creating and giving presentations.
* Experience with a job that requires travel to provide services.
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs as well as any other presentation platforms.
* Experience with implementing and developing new programs.
