About the Role

Are you passionate about advanced automation, robotics, and large-scale deployment projects? We are seeking a skilled Controls Integration Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering the next generation of industrial fulfillment and packaging technology across the United States.

In this role, you’ll own the commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of new mechatronics and control systems. You’ll work onsite alongside cross-functional teams and operations stakeholders to ensure safe and reliable performance, while continuously optimizing system functionality.

What You’ll Do:
  • Deploy and commission automation workcells and mechatronic systems at customer facilities.
  • Integrate PLC-based controls systems; troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
  • Write control specification documents and build training materials.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and operations stakeholders to refine system requirements.
  • Lead field activities for system handover and performance ramp-up.
  • Support root-cause analysis, incident documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Train site technicians on control system troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and proactively identify risks.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 4+ years PLC programming or automation controls experience.
  • Hands‑on commissioning and deployment experience (Greenfield or Brownfield).
  • Strong industrial controls knowledge — hardware + software.
  • Experience with Allen‑Bradley OR Siemens PLCs is highly preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize systems in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to ~75%).
Bonus Points:
  • Knowledge of Linux, industrial networking, or Codesys.
  • Experience with robotics or large-scale automation.
  • Exposure to Agile teams (Scrum).

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who love solving real problems onsite, integrating complex systems, and delivering impactful automation solutions at scale.

Please note that this role is only for W2 contracts
