Bowl Attendant

Job Description

At Main Event, our Bowl Attendants set the stage for our guests by providing a warm welcome and serving as their information source for all activities and specials. They are high-energy, helpful, and knowledgeable, guiding guests through our activities to ensure they have a fun and memorable experience. They maintain safety and sanitation standards and use various systems to perform their duties.

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards
• Welcome and engage guests, acting as an ambassador of fun
• Promote and recommend activities based on guest needs and availability
• Troubleshoot and handle lane malfunction calls
• Issue and clean bowling shoes; maintain shoe organization
• Escort guests to their lanes and assist with lane set-up and ball selection
• Ensure guests adhere to bowling safety standards
• Process payment transactions and welcome guests back
• Maintain a clean and organized bowl desk and/or lanes; complete side duties

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience is a plus (not required)
• Guest-focused mindset
• Strong teamwork skills
• Problem solving and multitasking abilities
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple business-supporting systems
• Effective communication with management, team members, and guests
• Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends

• Salary range: $7.25 - $12.25 per hour
