Overview

Western Bank is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team for an 8-week internship program. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in the banking industry while offering exposure to multiple departments across the organization. The intern will gain valuable insight into banking operations, customer service, financial services, and the overall structure of a community bank.

This internship is designed for individuals interested in learning about banking, developing professional skills, and exploring potential career paths within the financial services industry.

• Observe and assist team members across multiple departments including Retail Banking, Lending, Operations, Compliance, Accounting, and Human Resources.
• Support daily operational tasks and departmental projects.
• Participate in team meetings and learning sessions to gain a broader understanding of bank functions.
• Assist with research, reporting, and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Provide excellent service and professionalism when interacting with customers and staff.
• Complete a final internship reflection or presentation summarizing the experience and key learnings.
