Position Purpose

Responsible for receiving, verifying, and processing incoming and outgoing domestic, international, and foreign currency wire transfers. Complete miscellaneous assignments as requested.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties
  • Responsible for timely and accurate processing of outgoing domestic, international, or foreign currency wire transfer requests received from banking centers, cash management customers or other departments.
  • Monitor alerts to identify fraudulent or suspicious activity.
  • Process incoming wires.
  • Process foreign exchange requests received from banking centers.
  • Perform wire transfer callbacks.
  • Perform wire transfer end of day balancing.
  • Respond to wire department emails in a timely manner.
  • Perform filing and related record‑keeping duties.
  • Open and disperse incoming mail.
  • Order department supplies.
  • Resolve requests, questions, and problems promptly.
  • Maintain the Company’s professional reputation.
  • Provide support to banking centers and other departments by resolving problems and answering questions related to wire transfers.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training as required.
Qualifications

Experience

Required:

One to two years of office experience.

Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent with emphasis on accounting and financial business courses.

Knowledge

Required:

General understanding of Federal Reserve procedures and reserve requirements; familiarity with required computer applications.

Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal and public relations skills; well organized and attentive to detail; excellent typing skills and ability to operate related computer applications; willingness to assist and support others; ability to operate computer, calculator, telephone, and other basic business machines.

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Finger dexterity: primarily small finger movements such as typing.
  • Talking: convey detailed instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Average hearing: hear average normal conversations.
  • Repetitive motions: frequent wrist, hand, finger movements.
  • Average visual abilities: ordinary visual acuity to prepare or inspect documents.
  • Physical strength: sedentary work; exert up to 10 lbs occasionally.
  • Working conditions:

    no hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions.
Working Hours

Monday – Friday:
Availability from 8:00am to 5:45pm.

40 hours per week.
