Sr Ultrasound Tech OB/GYN
Position DescriptionProduces two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by Physician in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs by performing the following duties. Works under general supervision, functions independently within established guidelines and procedures. Work is performed under usual clinic and office conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Requires a high degree of contact with patients and physicians.

Major/Essential Functions- Advanced Imaging: Conducting detailed first/second-trimester anatomy scans, fetal echocardiograms, and Doppler studies.
- High-Risk Focus: Evaluating complex cases, including multiple gestations (twins, triplets) and identifying fetal anomalies (CNS, cardiac, etc.).
- Procedure Assistance: Preparing and assisting with invasive procedures like amniocentesis, PUBS, and cervical checks.
- Preliminary Diagnosis: Forming initial diagnoses of fetal or gynecological disorders for MFM specialists to review.
- Patient Care: Communicating findings, maintaining records, and ensuring patient comfort during high-stakes exams.

Preferred Qualifications- Senior Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Ultrasound Tech needs an accredited sonography degree/certificate RDMS certification (preference in OB/GYN).
- 2-3+ years experience in high-risk pregnancies with advanced skills in fetal echocardiography.
