Description
The primary function of this position involves answering telephone calls from physician offices, inside and outside of the clinic to facilitate proper handling of patients requiring pre‑certifications, referrals, RQI numbers, or any kind of authorization from an insurance company. Primary responsibilities include speaking with medical personnel from physician practices by phone to gather appropriate patient information. This position reports to the Referral and Scheduling Supervisor or Clinic Supervisor/Manager.

Required Qualifications- 1 year medical office experience.
- 2 years customer service experience.
- Experience using Microsoft based systems.
- 2 years medical office experience dealing with scheduling, telephone calls, prior pre‑certification/pre‑authorization, and using an electronic medical record system.

Location & CompensationGrace Clinic, Lubbock, TX. Full‑time day shift. Pay range: $17.12 – $26.18 per hour (base pay range; additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, bonuses may be available).
