Associate Medical Assistant

Description

The Associate Medical Assistant (MA I) works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide basic patient care to assigned patients. Responsibilities include administrative and clinical duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with hands‑on clinical training; or graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program; or completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces; or minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.

• Upon hire:
  National Medical Assistant Certification.
• Prior experience providing high‑level customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health Record (EHR).

$15.54 – $23.29 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
