Cornerstone Audiology is seeking a full-time Audiology Assistant to support their audiologists and hearing aid service center. This hands-on, patient-facing role focuses on the ongoing care, maintenance, and support of hearing aid patients and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology, helping patients in person, and building skills in a clinical healthcare setting.
Previous audiology experience or credentials are not required for this role. Cornerstone Audiology is open to training and supporting the right candidate toward Audiology Assistant credentialing as experience and tenure grow.
Note:
This role is not a front desk or call-center position. Phone interaction is limited to hearing aid support and device-related patient follow-up.
- Clean, check, and maintain hearing aids and accessories
- Troubleshoot hearing devices in person and provide basic device support by phone
- Pair hearing aids with smartphones and assist patients with connectivity
- Support audiologists with patient flow and clinical preparation
- Manage hearing aid inventory, supplies, and repairs
- Check in hearing aids returned from repair and coordinate patient pick-ups
- Schedule follow-up appointments related to hearing aid services
- Maintain accurate documentation within the practice management system
- Willingness to learn and pursue Audiology Assistant training or credentialing over time is strongly valued
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a healthcare, technical support, or patient-facing role preferred
- Familiarity with hearing aids or medical devices is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, friendly demeanor with a patient-first mindset
- Willingness to learn hearing aid technology and clinical workflows
