Responsibilities
  • Report to workstation on time and remain there until relieved for lunch or end of shift.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment for each procedure.
  • Instruct patients regarding procedures.
  • Follow prescribed safety and confidentiality standards.
  • Maintain examination rooms and supplies.
  • Standby for scheduled modalities; when on‑call paged, arrive within twenty‑five minutes.
  • Wear clean scrub uniforms at all times unless directed otherwise.
  • Complete necessary forms for each study and coordinate with the physician.
  • Confirm patient identification using arm band.
  • Record time and attendance per hospital policy.
  • Participate in quality improvement and control projects.
  • Follow departmental policies and protocols for each exam.
  • Maintain licensure and certifications for the modalities assigned.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and report any mechanical or system problems to the director.
  • Demonstrate initiative and a professional demeanor with all staff, patients, and physicians.
  • Efficiently perform duties toward maintaining budgetary goals.
  • Report incidents within twenty‑four hours using the proper form.
  • Handle patient complaints per hospital policy.
  • Assist in development of new CPT codes for the department charge master.
  • Assist in developing procedures within assigned modalities.
Qualifications
  • Successfully completed an accredited course for national and/or state registry or gained licensure/certification eligibility through experience.
  • RDMS preferred.
  • Maintains current BLS certification.
Shift

Full‑time days with on‑call duties.
